Oak Class - How can I help my child?

Parents and carers play a vital role in supporting learning at home. You can help by encouraging your child to complete their homework regularly, following the timetable provided, and by offering guidance where needed. Daily reading is especially important – listening to your child read, discussing stories, and sharing books together can greatly boost their confidence and skills. We will let you know if there are any specific areas your child would benefit from practising at home, and we are always happy to discuss your child’s learning or offer guidance on how best to support them. Establishing a consistent routine, providing a quiet space to work, and celebrating your child’s efforts will all help them develop positive learning habits and a love of learning.
